Kuk Sool Won is a Korean martial art which was founded in 1958 by the Grandmaster (Kuk Sa Nim in Korean) by the name of In Hyuk Suh. Kuk Sool Won roughly translates to mean "National Martial Art Association".

Kuk Sool Won (more commonly referred to as just Kuk Sool, is to korean martial arts what Jeet Kune Do is to Kung Fu, it is an attempt to envelop all of the skills needed in martial arts together to develop a more diverse fighter.

A Kuk Sool fighter will learn modern day defences against guns and knives. The techniques taught cover most combat techniques with a reasonably strong emphasis on joint locking, pressure point strikes and low stances that use fluid flowing movements. Kuk Sool even includes healing, body conditioning and meditation.

Kook Sool is practiced for a diverse range of combat skills, fitness, competition and for general self defence.
