Muay Thai

Muay Thai or Thai Boxing means "The Art of the Eight Limbs" and is a martial art similar to conventional Kickboxing which has existed for hundreds of years and is Thailand’s national sport. The origins of Mauy Thai trace back to its predecessor Muay Boran, translated it means "Ancient Boxing” and was created by Siamese soldiers in combination with a weapons system. Muay Boran was eventually broken down into several styles, one of which became the martial art - Muay Thai.

The art of the eight limbs symbolizes a Muay Thai practitioner’s ability to strike with the knees, fists, elbows and feet. The Muay thai fighters step into the ring in trunks and gloves like western kick-boxers do. If you aren’t afraid of getting inside the ring and like competitive fighting, Muay Thai is a great choice of martial art for you.
